| carrara marble, iron wire, glass vase
| 35 x 25 x 30 cm
With this work, I wanted to reference the somewhat „inbred” nature of the craft. I carved out from marble wood crosses, bound together by wires, which is a tool used only by sculptors. Plus, by placing them in a glass vase, they could look like a bouquet of flowers, so this way, they become a particular gift only colleagues can understand properly. But it raises the question, whether the majority or the minority of the audience is left out from full understanding?
